Friday Woodbine Selections

Watching a little Woodbine as well as some others tracks today, will post more as the day continues.

Woodbine

Race 1

Rodeo Run

Connections have clicked with 2 yr olds in the past and this one should relish the 6 1/2 F distance, not my favorite Jockey by a longshot but that may get us something in the area of 7/2 or so come race time on a horse with a nice shot at the win spot.

Race 2

Clibrig

This one is set for a top effort today, pretty well the co favorite with the one but I am inclined to play this one ontop and also include Curiosity in the exactor as I think the favorite may bounce today after putting in a big run last out.

Race 4

Tamara

Bell filly should fit in nicely here at a mile on the Turf, outside post and Kabel aboard should insure a clean stalking trip.

I haven't been their much the last week and a half, mainly because of the rain we've been getting.. really plays havic with the track. I prefer a dry track. Adding a couple of Saratoga plays to start the day.

Race 1

Quiet Challenge

Although Lord Commando looks tough here in this NY Bred race, I'm going to try and beat him with QC and Chavez, don't really see much past these two and if LC falters at all then Jorge should be around to pick up the pieces here.. 1 1/8 seems right for this one.

Race 2

Frankie B

Another case of trying to beat the chalk here as Fellini and the Klesaris entry (not sure which one will go) should get a majority of the cash, 6 1/2F can be a tricky distance especially when timing a move, if Castellano can rate this one then I like his chances of breaking thru at around 6 or 7 to 1.

Race 5

Classic Bird

The entry of Sensous Cinnamon/Kirianna will take a huge chunk of the money after completing a one two finish last out at this level, the only horse with a legitimate shot at the upset is CB with Jimmy Mac aboard and this one should relish the distance and may be sitting on a big effort today at a square price.

Race 6

Expected Touch

Small field and Stronach owned Spitfire man looks like the favorite here but Tiller has been sending them ready this year and this one will rate just off the flank of the Fav and Dillinger and I think Kabel should get this one to accellerate as the turn for home.

Suffering from seconditis today.. onto the final couple of plays

Trainer hit earlier in the card and although on the rail this filly should be forwardly placed, if she can get an easy first quarter she should be in great shape turning for home. An exacta with Majestic Smoke is also a play.

Race 10

Silver Patriach

This one should be about 10-1 come post time but I think he may be able to steal away to an early lead and pop at a price, doesn't seem as there is much pure speed signed on in this 6F dash.

I hear you man that one ran like a dog.. sorry to see they took George down, I skipped that race as I figured George would win but couldn't take less than even money. With the scratch of the 4 horse in the 10th the 7 seems to be taking some money.. currently 4-1 with about 8 minutes til post. Trying to end with a winner.

Even though the #2 Dyno Trevor comes in the even money choice here, I'm gonna take a shot on the #5 with Phil Hudon aboard, he could get a nice 2 hole trip here at fair odds.

#3 Sin Queen

Race looks competitve, so I'll take Saftic breaking from the 3 hole. Will probably sit behind in 3rd or 4th and if he gets cover at the right time he could be flying in the stretch.

Lourdes ran out of gas and gave up the lead in the stretch...........
Thankful that the technology gods are still screwing around with my account and I could not access it to bet........

I like #4 "Terrific Spice" to nose out #6 "Artaffection"

**Look for a hot Waples to possibly surprise here with nice odds - if he goes out at 5-1 or more I'll have some across the board on him. (or maybe I STILL won't!
